I’m happy to share my conversation with Maj. Gen. (res.) Noam Tibon, who drove from Tel Aviv to Nahal Oz on October 7 to reach his son’s family, and is now a candidate for the Knesset with B’Yachad.
He says Netanyahu received multiple warnings before October 7 — from the Egyptians, from MBZ, and from Yair Lapid — and that the Shin Bet pushed again and again to kill Sinwar and was refused. On the Qatari officials he says are still working in the Prime Minister’s Office: “They are going to be in jail, all of them.” We also spoke about NAZA, and about his own documentary that premiered last year at TIFF, and his vision for Israel.
